Made of granular activated carbon with an excellent adsorption capacity.
Effectively reduce Chlorine, sand, rust, sediment, odor, and color.
Carbon used is certified against NSF standard to reach a perfect filtration performance.
Strong adsorption capacity and can absorb various impurities and organic pollutants.
Designed to provide professional filtration performance both for well and tap water.
Fits any standard 3 Stage 20×4.5inch whole house water filtration system and housings.
Efficient Filtration
High rejection rate of Chlorine, Total Organic Carbon (TOC), Turbidity, color, Organic Pollutants, Industrial Solvents, and Chemicals causing bad tastes and odors.
High Grade Carbon: Chlorine reduction rate >99%
Recognized by Australia Water Mark: food grade material
Filter Life: Replace every 3-6 months or 30,000 gallons depending on water quality.
Works pretty good and allows good water to flow through even gravity fed from the roof top system. Only lasts about five to several months before water slows too much. This is mostly clean water, rain water but not too expensive and does the job if you dont mind changing every 5 months or so, but with higher water pressure like your regular water department source it will probably last year or longer slowly dropping in pressure.

I used this filter for my kitchen drinking water. It works well, we have a pretty heavily clorinated water source in our area, the filter removes all of the clorine flavor and smell, works well.

Being able to filter down to 1 micron, they are great as a stand-alone filter on a municipal water system, especially when chlorine odor is a factor. I have a well water system, so installed a primary 5 micron filter upstream to take out the sediment, and then this one as the secondary, which works great. It would clog quickly with sediment on a well system without the primary 5 micron filter. They were very well packaged.
