The filters appear to be as good as the PUR brand but I wish they would have put stickers in the box to mark the date you need to change the filter.

These filters work exactly the same as Pur filters, lasting about 6 weeks with my level of usage. My only complaint is that they are VERY difficult to install and remove. The threads only engage about a half turn when you install the filter, and I have to use a wrench to remove them because the threads are so tight. I bought them initially because Pur filters were unavailable with the supply chain issues during the Covid pandemic and I have continued to purchase them, knowing that I will need to use a wrench to uninstall them, and occasionally even to install them. Good filters, as long as you have a wrench handy.

I had purchased original Pur filters in past but they had this weird problem of getting white sand like deposits in my top filter compartment. This new filter work perfectly and does not have any of such issues.
Even after 2 months, it is still going strong and water flow is quick. There is no taste for water which is good sign for water filter.
