We replaced the expired filter with one of these and let the water run through it like it said for as long as the instructions said. When the water first went through it tho it looked disgusting like horror movie water, but when it was done flushing it out the water looks normal and tastes drinkable so I think it’s working now. Whatever it flushed out of the filter was just creepy..

I have used this water filter device for several years. My tap water tastes so much better. The only complaint I have is the low water pressure coming from the filter unit but it’s worth the wait.

Having tried a couple of replacement filters from other companies, I decided to go back to the PUR replacements and the difference in taste is really different for the better.
There is also a difference in the amount of things filtered with PUR removing more.
