I have learned that using a cheap filter costs about the same in the long run as an expensive one because you have to replace them more often. So, a filter that stands up to multiple cleanings is important to me. So, far this one has worked well and cleaned easily and is very comparable to the brand name I have used, but about $15 less expensive.
Dirt and grime rinses out and the hose pressure does not blow a hole through it when cleaning. So, overall I would say it is a slightly less expensive filter of the same quality as what I have been using. But, I will have to say that it was not quite an exact replacement even though it indicated it was the correct replacement. It is about a quarter of an inch taller than the name brand filter which made it a little harder to get the top of the filter holder back on tight but I was able to get it there. The canisters can be very finicky about exact measurements and I have occasionally had other name brands that did not quite fit perfect so this was no surprise. Make sure you get one that is an exact replacement for the one your filter canister requires.
I would buy them again and will probably just put it on a regular six-month scheduled purchase so I don’t have to worry about running out to get a new one.

This appears to be a very well-made filter though I believe the $70 price is a bit steep. The packaging is very well done and I wish they would just use basic stuff and reduce the price. Ultimately, I will have this on hand the next time I change my filter and I’ll enjoy this over the older more paper-like filters that could not be cleaned as easily.
