These filters keep the refrigerator free of smells and the water tasting great! I’ve never been a fan of any water that came from the tap or a refrigerator dispenser. Since I’ve been using these, I drink water from the refrigerator all the time. There’s no off-taste, smell or anything but great refreshing water. Great stuff!

So at first glance of the connection. It looks different than the proper replacement filter. IT DOES FIT, DON’T RETURN IT! I gave it a twist and it connected with a normal amount of resistance turning it clockwise.
When I replaced the filter the first time with the proper LG brand. It honestly didn’t make a bit of difference in water quality(i.e. fresh filter still had a chlorine smell/taste). Once this filter was installed, it took a second for the water to fill up and pass through the filter but once it did, BEST TASTING WATER EVER! And when I say best tasting, it tastes like…nothing. Pure clean water, no chlorine taste or smell.

I’ve used these filters for several years, and they work fine, but the instructions enclosed with the product cannot be read. The instruction sheet is printed in very tiny type, and the English-language instructions are obscured by a dark-blue background. Annoying.

So far I’m completely happy with these products. The water filter looked different from the name-brand (LG) filter that I removed, and I was concerned that I received the wrong product. However, it installed perfectly and my water tastes just as good as it did with the original filter.
