Moved from CO to PA. Water quality in CO was EXCELLENT – great taste, no odors, etc. Water quality in PA nowhere near as good – you can smell and taste the treatment in the water.
We bought a new LG refrigerator which uses a water filter. The standard filter didn’t do much – could still taste and smell the water. Had to run the filtered water from the refrigerator through a Brita purifier in order to get decent tasting water.
Replaced the LG filter with the Pureplus filter. Immediately cleared up the bad tasting / bad smelling water issues. No need to re-filter through the Brita.
Would highly recommend this filter as a replacement for any standard refrigerator filter.

I got these for my LG refrigerator. I had been using water drop for two years and after two years realized the water drop was not even filtering my water!!!!!!! It is a new refrigerator so I thought maybe the filtering system was just different because it didn’t make a noise after I installed it and started to use it. I should have known, because with the water drop brand, the water still tasted gross. So I googled it and it said that sometimes the water will still taste gross so I kept using the water drop brand. Well, call me STUPID, I finally tried this brand and VOILA! Clean tasting water!!!! HIGHLY recommend this Pure Plus, I will continue to use this one.

Seems like exceptional value in this 3 pack for our LG fridge. I noticed the flow through this filter much faster than the one that came with the fridge. That makes me suspect of the 0.5 micron in the description. Typically, filters with small geometries, run at slower flow. Would love to see the test data to prove
