I used on ORP meter to judge the aging effect or anti-aging effect of the water this filter produces. It registered a reading in the mid 80s which is exceptionally good. Noticeably better than the Brita pitcher filter which produced higher numbers in the 120s even on a new filter as opposed to straight tap water which is also in the lower one-hundreds (higher is worse for you).. That means this is the best cheapest file I can buy and put to use. It even outlived the fridge itself which jut keeled over this morning spoiling all of our vunerable food. Fooey on Samsung. Praises for the maker of this cheapest but great filter. It’s just as good as any of the more expensive versions of this filter from other sellers or manufacturers. No joke. You won’t be disappointed. Now.. who can I sell the remaining one unused filter to now I have no fridge to use it with?? 😉

It was very hard to uninstall the original filter. Took several videos before we could figure it out. When installing this replacement cartridge I failed to screw it in tight enough and the filter shot out of the fridge like a rocket. It hit my jaw and then my arm while spraying water in the fridge and my kitchen. Install with care…..

I usually buy another brand of filters that are bigger. They took up a good deal of space in the refrigerator. My husband saw these and suggested we try them. I use the water from the refrigerator for everything so we go through the filters quickly. So far this filter has lasted longer than the other type. It gives us more room to put things into the space where we normally couldn’t. I am happy with the filter and the water taste good.
