1. Lower the filter housing cover to expose the filter, Pull the old filter downward untilit releases from the filter receptor,then pullit out.
2. With the filter’s two top notches in the horizontal position,align with the filter receptor and push it into the receptor until it stops.
3. Lift the filter upwards until it stops and locks in place..Raise and close the filter cover.
Flush new filter for 2 mins to condition it. Discard first 2 ice batches. Filter made of coconut shell activated carbon block, harmless charcoal residuals may be present. Flushing removes carbon fines.
This filter does not reauire to shut off the water, However, it is recommended to turn off the water valve to de-pressurize if customers have difficulties removing the old existing filter or installing the new filter.
