I have a white Kenmore fridge. It was easy for me to install. I let the water run for about 5-6 mins after. Also, my dogs are picky with their water so I’m glad they like it. I’m happy with this purchase.

When Kenmore brand became orphan as Sears no longer exist. I was looking for a reliable replacement filter for it. There were many alternatives with unknow performance. I bought this filter outside the genuine Kenmore parts. It installed and behaved like the old unit. Perhaps, this will be OK for now– with my fingers crossed.
