Seems to work OK, but the fit is a bit off as it is a bit bigger in diameter than the original filter. Barely fits into the filter clip.

I have used this filter for water that did not taste good in Gilbert AZ and once we installed called this filter the water tasted Great!
We recently moved into a house with my in-laws and the water did not taste good so I drank bottled water. I found out they had not ever replaced the filter the came with the refrigerator. I asked my in-laws if it was ok to replace the filter and they said I could.
After I replaced their filter I could drink water from their refrigerator and they even started drinking water from their refrigerator also! They used to Dr nk bottled water also.

Apparently the GFE26 line of refrigerators has an RFID chip reader in it and the filters need to have this for them to work. These filters do not have that needed chip, so was unable to see how well they work as a filter. So while this may be a great filter, I cannot test them, thanks to manufacturers trying to chip things that don’t need to be chipped.
